I have a 660 with a dead screen. Sliding a credit card across the top did get it to another screen but that's about it. I would get it fixed only if they can get a newer map to install. I have lifetime subsc. but a year or so ago the map update (horrible overnight process of installation)got an error that read not enough space. This is supposed to be a 2 gig unit and the map update was 1.7 gig. Garmin said to install on SD. Where is the email address on the Sharcnet-usa site?? The quote link did not work. If I don't get this fixed I will buy another brand because I have not been thrilled with it hanging up on the return trip from Suffren, NY to CT every year even after map updates. |

We are in the middle of a move. The quote page is disabled for that reason. It sounds like your touchscreen definitely needs to be replaced. Yes, there is 2 GB of space on the internal flash drive. There is 4GB n the 670. However the operating system also uses that space. Garmin was correct in telling you to use an SD card. |

Garmin does not support this model anymore. Let us know if you are still interested in having the unit repaired. |
