I hadn't used by GPS for probably about two to three weeks, went to use it and it will not turn on. I have tried plugging it into car charger, home charger and PC. No matter what it will not turn on. Reset buttons does nothing. Am I now the proud owner of a expensive brick? |

Could very well be. It's very difficult to troubleshoot a dead GPS because there could be one or more damaged components. These parts were originally placed by machine and very difficult to remove and replace by hand. When we receive a dead GPS, we just swap out the board. It's just too time consuming to try and find out what has failed and it may not be worth repairing. We just have too many units coming in daily to spend hours troubleshooting ust one unit. |
