Ok, there's nothing more frustrating than being on the road and when you go to type in an address into your Nuvi and it says "No Matches Found". This is an indication that your map is turned off. To turn on your map, press the wrench/tools button, then the map icon and then press "map info". You should see your map listed with a box next to it. This boxed should be checked. If it's not, then your map is turned off. Press the box and to place a checkmark in the box. This will turn your map back on. You should now be able to navigate without a problem now! That means that your map file is either missing or corrupted. Your Nuvi can't find the map file. I can fix this problem for you. Please email me at sharcnet-usa@sharc.net |

Thanks for the help on the Garmin 350 about the map info. Too bad I didn't get that info first. But, I am a happy camper now and glad of the help |

I have the Garmin nuvi 255W. I followed the steps you outlined above and I currently have 'CN North American NT 2010.20' selected under Map Info. However it still shows 'No matches found' when I'm looking for an address. Also, nothing shows up when I type the city name in. The only way I can save an address is if I physically locate and select it on the map itself. |

I have a Garmin Street Pilot c340 which gives me a "No Map Data Available" message and the Map Info button is grayed out or deselected. |
