I've scratched up the screen pretty badly, what is the part called that I would need to replace? Is it the digitizer? The unit is the Garmin Nuvi 205w. Please someone email me with the information I need. Its my GF's parents GPS and I would like to fix it before they find out.

Darren, Yes you need a new digitizer or I call it a touchscreen with glass. We charge $49.00 USD + $10.35 USD return shipping to replace it. This also includes a free firmware upgrade if your unit requires it.

Ali, same issue. The touchscreen with glass needs to be replaced. On the 6xx series, we also offer a on/off power switch modification for just $5.00 more. We normally charge $25.00 for this repair/preventative maintenance procedure. - Jim
