TIP 0002 - No Matches Found

Author Message   SHARCNET-USA Username: Sharcnetusa Registered: 12-2008 Posted From: 63.131.48.161 Posted on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 - 05:44 pm:    Ok, there's nothing more frustrating than being on the road and when you go to type in an address into your Nuvi and it says "No Matches Found". This is an indication that your map is turned off. To turn on your map, press the wrench/tools button, then the map icon and then press "map info". You should see your map listed with a box next to it. This boxed should be checked. If it's not, then your map is turned off. Press the box and to place a checkmark in the box. This will turn your map back on. You should now be able to navigate without a problem now! Your Nuvi can't find the map file. I can fix this problem for you. I followed the steps you outlined above and I currently have 'CN North American NT 2010.20' selected under Map Info. However it still shows 'No matches found' when I'm looking for an address. Also, nothing shows up when I type the city name in.
