Hi All, Decided to replace my scratched (but working) screen myself and may have done MORE damage in the process. I find it very hard to line up the contacts of the screen connector with those on the main board. Is there a trick to it? Now I can't get either screen to work (completely black). May need to send it in to you but it will be sent from Europe. Would that be a problem? |

It would probably be easier for you to find a shop in your country. I hope the latching connector isn't broken off or it's "Game Over" and it will need to be sent in for repair. Yes, we prefer not to post any do-it-your repair tips (from us or anyone else) because it can make matters worse. Not everyone is electro-mechanically inclined. SHARCNET-USA |
